Registered Veterinary Nurse

I studied a National Diploma in Animal Care and then HND in Animal Management at Askham Bryan College, York, before joining Calder Vets as a trainee Teterinary Nurse in November 2002. I went onto qualify as a Registered Veterinary Nurse from Myerscough College, Preston in October 2009.

Over the years I have spent time working at most of the branches covering all aspects of nursing. I also spent a period of time assisting the referral and insurance team. 

I now work at Dewsbury part time as a Pet Health Advisor as well as being clinical coach for our Student Veterinary Nurses.

Outside of work I keep very busy.  I enjoy horse riding, socialising with friends, running around being my 2 children's PA/taxi service and helping out on my parents family run farm.
