Calder vet to run marathon for charity

Mark is running the Chester marathon for the Blue Cross charity

MARK HARRISON TAKES ON THE MBNA CHESTER MARATHON TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE BLUE CROSS

Veterinary Surgeon Mark Harrison plans to run the Chester Marathon on the 6 October 2013 to raise valuable funds for one of our favourite charities, The Blue Cross.

In the past, Calder Vets have raised over £1500 for the charity and with your help and Mark’s determination we hope to raise much more.

Just like you, all Calder Vets staff are passionate about animal health and welfare. Working alongside this charity, we know how essential the work of organisations such as the Blue Cross are, and the aim is to help their much needed cause. The Blue Cross offer abandoned, unwanted, injured or ill pets secure futures and ensure they all have happy endings. They are a charity based organisation so every penny counts.

Please help us support Mark and raise money as he is training hard and committed to succeed. This is Mark’s first ever Marathon (having done the Great North Run a few years ago and swearing after he would never do anything as daft as a full marathon…), so dig deep if you can and show your support for your local vet and the Blue Cross Charity 🙂
