I graduated from University of Liverpool in 2007. After heading back home, I started working in a small animal hospital in West Sussex, mainly doing out of hours emergency work. After working there for 10 years, I decided it was time for a change of scenery. So I decided to move from rural West Sussex into the bustling city centre of Leeds.
It was a new chapter in my life, which led me to join the Calder Vets team in August 2018. I mainly operate between the Dewsbury Hospital and the Halton bramch. My main interests lie in soft tissue surgery and imaging, especially endoscopy. I also love consulting and getting to know the clients (and their pets of course!).
Having grown up with a household full of cats and rabbits, I have a particular fondness for these species. Otherwise, I have a special interest in chickens and happy to cater to any medical or surgical attention they may require.
In my spare time, you can often find me in the gym. I also enjoy boxing, cooking and have recently joined a choir in Leeds, as I cannot stop singing. I live in Leeds with my ginger cat George – probably the most spoilt cat in Leeds!
