Nursing Excellence Manager & Registered Veterinary Nurse

I started at Calder Vets in September 2016 after qualifying as an Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2014.  I also completed my Vets Now Emergency & Critical Care certificate in March 2017.

Medical nursing has always been my favourite, I find these patients can be the most rewarding.  I have a small obsession with lab work so the facilities, equipment and range of testing that can be done at Calder Vets is something I'm very proud of.

In November 2017 I took on the position of Operations Co-ordinator for all 12 of Calders first opinion branches.  This role gave me an insight into what it takes to run a multi-site veterinary group and I learnt so much that will now help me in my role as Nursing Excellence Manager.

Ensuring we offer the very best care to our clients and their pets is what I'm very passionate about and with my nursing and operational skills, this is something that suits my new role very well.
