Tegan Rose Wright

Student Veterinary Nurse

I started working at Calder Vets in 2015 and enrolled with Myerscough College in September 2017, where I am currently studying for my Veterinary Nursing Qualification.

I have a keen interest in medical nursing and the emergency cases that we get here at the Dewsbury Hospital. In the future I would love to further my education by studying for the Vets Now Emergency and Critical Care certificate.

Working as a Veterinary Nurse is a rewarding job and I love nothing more than nursing pets through their illness from start to finish, before seeing them be reunited with their owners again.

In my spare time, I am kept busy by my 3 ginger rescue cats that I 'fostered' from our Dewsbury hospital (which soon become permanent members of the family), as well as two rabbits and an energetic puppy named Drax.'
