I joined Calder Vets in 1999, it was my first full time job since leaving college. I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2004 and then in 2008 gained my Diploma is Advanced Medical Nursing. I became the Head Nurse in 2007 and together with the Nursing management team my responsibilities included the day to day running of the practice, Nurse Training, Clinical Audit, Compliance with RCVS and other directives and legislation, helping with nursing issues and doing the rota and holidays for all 12 branches!

I enjoy traveling and in 2009 was given 3 months sabbatical to go work in and explore Australia. In 2015 I gave birth to my son and have since returned to working part time.
