Due to the closure of mypetstop we have reluctantly had to reduce our opening times at Calder Vets Tingley.
If you should need us out of these hours: late appointments and Emergency services are provided at our Dewsbury Hospital with staff available 24hrs a day 365 days a year.

About Calder Vets Tingley
Calder Vets at Tingley was established in 2009, taking over from Banfield at the MyPetStop site. There is ample parking for clients.Facilities include a spacious, airy waiting area, 4 consulting rooms, large prep room (for anaesthetic induction, minor procedures and dental work), operating theatre, imaging room with xray and ultrasound facility, lab facilities and a large heated ward for day patients.
The main veterinary surgeon at Tingley is Rachel Wilkinson. Rachel has been with Calder Vets since 2007 and enjoys all aspects of veterinary work and strives to provide a caring, personal service to all her clients and patients.
The main nurse is Lara McHale RVN. Lara has been with the practice since 2005 and is a qualified veterinary nurse. Lara is able to offer a Pet Health Advisor service and is keen to help with a wide range of health problems and general advice, including weight clinics/dietary advice, senior pet clinics, parasite control (worming and flea treatment), vaccinations, choosing the right pet and dental checks, with referral to the vet if required. Her pet weight watchers clinics are a particular favourite and are always very popular!
Surgery Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 10.30am / 4pm - 6pm
Saturday 9am - 12pm
All consultations are held by appointment only. Any emergencies will continue to be seen as required.
