Internal Medicine - Referral Service

Internal Medicine referrals taken by:

Adam Bell BSc BVSc CertVC CertSAM RCVS

Jane Scott BVSc CertSAM MRCVS

Internal medicine involves investigating, treating and preventing disease. Adam Bell and Jane Scott are our veterinary surgeons that deal with internal medicine referrals. We can use both medical and surgical treatments to help with pets suffering from internal diseases.

You can expect to have a 20-60 minute consultation with either Adam Bell or Jane Scott. We will take a thorough history from you and then examine your pet carefully. We will try to answer all of the questions that you may have and suggest ways that we can investigate and treat your pets problem. We will always discuss potential costs, outcomes and risks including complications.

Assuming you have agreed to treatment very often your pet will be left with us for immediate investigation and treatment. We aim to send most internal medicine cases home on the same day. However, if this is not appropriate we have extensive hospitalisation facilities to care for your pet during his/her stay.

The internal medicine team work very closely with the soft tissue surgeons to provide a holistic service for your pet.
